Online physics tutoring, from Physics First to Physics C.
Physics rewards a clear setup more than any other class. Our tutors teach students to draw it, reason about it, and only then calculate.
Physics is taught at very different levels: conceptual or Physics First in ninth grade, Honors Physics, algebra based AP Physics 1 and 2, and calculus based AP Physics C. Each needs a different kind of support.
Our tutors know the current College Board framework, including the 2024 to 2025 revisions that moved fluids into AP Physics 1 and changed the free response questions.
AP Physics 1
AP Physics 1 has one of the lowest score distributions of any AP exam. The math is only algebra. What makes it hard is reasoning about physical situations in words, graphs, and diagrams, and that is exactly what we practice.
Grades 10 to 12 →PHYS 402 · APAP Physics 2
AP Physics 2 covers more different kinds of physics than almost any other course. Each unit feels like starting over. A tutor helps you see what carries over, so you are never truly starting from zero.
Grades 11 to 12 →PHYS 451 · APAP Physics C: Mechanics
Physics C is taught like a first semester college engineering course. The physics ideas are familiar. The challenge is using derivatives, integrals, and differential equations to describe them.
Grades 11 to 12 →PHYS 452 · APAP Physics C: E&M
Electricity and Magnetism is the most abstract AP science exam. You cannot see a field, and the math uses surface and line integrals students have barely met. Good tutoring makes it concrete.
Grades 11 to 12 →PHYS 200 · HonorsHonors Physics
Physics is the class where students say "I understand it in class, then I can't do the homework." That gap is almost always about setting problems up. We teach the setup.
