02  How it works

From first message to first lesson in a few days.

1

Tell us the class

Fill in a short form with the course, grade, and what is going on. Two minutes.

2

We pick your tutor

A tutor who knows that exact course and fits your schedule and time zone.

3

Free 30 minute trial

Meet the tutor, work on something real from class, and see if the fit is right.

4

Weekly sessions, tracked

Regular lessons that keep pace with the class, while our support team tracks progress and keeps you updated.

03  How we teach

Not a homework helpline. A real teacher, every week.

The students who improve fastest work with the same person all year. That tutor learns how they think, which mistakes they repeat, and how their teacher writes tests.

“Most lost points are not about knowing the content. They are about explaining it the way the test wants.”the idea behind every lesson
A.

Same tutor all year

No rotating substitutes. Your tutor builds on every past session.

B.

Follows your class

We work from the syllabus, homework, and test calendar your teacher gives you.

C.

Real exam material

For AP courses we use released College Board free response questions and scoring guidelines.

D.

Worksheets and written reports

Weekly practice sets, marked by hand, with a score report and a targeted retest. Parents get a copy.

04  Between sessions

The work that happens after the lesson.

This is what our support team does. Your child gets weekly worksheets, and every one comes back marked with a written report that tells you exactly where the marks went and why.

01

Worksheet

A practice set on the topics from this week's class, sent every week, or whenever your child asks for one.

02

Marked by hand

Every answer is checked, including the working, not just the letter they circled.

03

Score report

A written report: score by topic, what the work shows, every lost mark grouped by its cause, and how to fix each one.

04

Retest

A short retest built only on the weak spots, with a worked answer key for parents.

Parents see the same report. No vague "doing great". You see the score by topic, what was strong, what was weak, and what the plan is.

What your work shows

Every calculation question is right, with the units stacked so they cancel. Every lost mark sits on the other side of the unit: atomic structure and periodicity.

How does online tutoring with Tutorqi work?
Lessons happen live over video with a shared whiteboard, so the tutor and student can both write. Students can share homework by photo or screen. All you need is a laptop or tablet with a camera.
Which courses do you tutor?
US high school math and science: AP and Honors Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, AP Environmental Science, Algebra 1 through Precalculus, AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, and Multivariable Calculus.
Will the tutor follow my child's school curriculum?
Yes. Every course in the US is taught a little differently. The tutor works from the class syllabus, homework, and test dates so sessions always line up with what is happening in school.
What happens in the free 30 minute trial session?
Your child meets their tutor and works through something real from class, like a homework problem or a topic from the last test. Afterwards we talk with you about where things stand and suggest a plan.
What does the support team do?
Your child's tutor teaches. Our support team handles everything between sessions: weekly worksheets on the current topics, marking them, writing a score report that shows exactly where marks were lost and why, and setting a short retest on the weak spots. Parents get the report and the retest answer key.
How often are worksheets sent?
Every week, and any time your child asks for extra practice before a test.
How often should my child meet with a tutor?
Most students meet once a week during the school year. AP students often add a second weekly session in the six weeks before the May exam.
